Welcome to the new version of my website! The old version is still available by clicking here.

Brandy Gomez-Duplessis, a New York born make-up artist, developed BGD Make-Up Artistry with this in mind. Her work, an ardent reflection of beauty, style, creativity, and passion has made her one of the most sought after make-up artist in the city. "I don't want women to just look beautiful, I want them to feel beautiful and that is what I want Make-Up Artistry to be about", says Gomez-Duplessis.

BGD is a household name amongst the old and the new New Orleans. After closing her makeup store in New Orleans two years ago, she has decided to expand nationally. Four months after Hurricane Katrina, Gomez-Duplessis worked at Jose' Eber's salon in Houston's Post Oak area. Since then she has been freelancing and traveling looking for a new place to perform her craft and grow her business. Her makeup brushes have touched many faces from the famous Mayor C. Ray Nagin, Access Hollywood Maria Menounos, Football Players Brett Favre and Reggie Bush, R&B Singer Usher, Essence, People, Teen People and Paper City magazine and made appearances on Style Network "How Do I Look", TLC, The Tyra Banks Show and toured with L'Oreal Cosmetics. Despite the increase in high profile work, she maintains one of her favorite make up staples: weddings. Having painted many of New Orleans' elite brides, her bridal make up is legendary. With elaborate wedding packages, flawless make up, brides have booked her as far in advance as two years.

BGD as she is known in New Orleans has been sighted by many, touring (doing make up in cities: LA, New York, Houston, Florida and Atlanta) traveling and branding locals and celebrities around the country with her brushes. Her contacts have allowed her to continue to work with shows like Access Hollywood, TLC & the Style Network. She has the looks and the talents that make you want to get to know more about this soon to be star. Her 10 years of hard work painting glam faces is starting to pay off.
