A lot of people ask me if I prefer to work on celebrities or regular people and I can honestly say brides are my favorite!!! I love glamour/elegant makeup looks and I find with my brides I can acheive what I love. Gomez-Duplessis and hairstylist Erin Carter transformed this bride into the sexy diva that she is. Gomez-Duplessis said "I really enjoyed working Beth". "We bonded on our first meeting at the Beauty Bar earlier this month and we worked on the details through email and phone calls". "I was fortunate to meet Beth through New Orleans Event Planner Geri Simpson". Beth's wedding party was very small, 2 bridesmaids and the entire day was intimate. She couldn't have picked a better place for her wedding which was at The Elms Mansion at 3020 St. Charles Ave. This is one bride I'll never forget. The Manalac family are Flipino. The bridesmaids were all very pretty girls and a lot of fun to work with Gomez-Duplessis said. Their sister bride Julia Manalac was beautiful on the inside and out. Gomez-Duplessis did makeup for the entire family including their mom and sister in law. On her discounted day at her store BGD Beauty Bar "Get Lashed" Wednesday she would service at least 35 women on that day. This is also a big service for her brides because the can enjoy having lashes for more than one day. So on their honeymoon that could continue look AMAZING! BGD enjoy working with these instead of the strips because they look so natural and it's another secret for us women that men never know. |
